Food Processing Facility Flooring & Striping Installation
Location: California
Scope: Multiple Processing Areas Across Facility
System: 1/4" Urethane Cement with Quartz Aggregate and Chemical-Resistant Epoxy Topcoat
Peckham Coatings completed the installation of over 20,000 square feet of industrial flooring and safety striping across a large manufacturing facility. The project covered twelve separate areas, including complex spaces with machinery, tanks, and piping—all delivered within a strict 14-day shutdown window.
Surface prep included dust-controlled diamond grinding and bead blasting to ensure proper adhesion. The team installed a 1/4" urethane cement system with a quartz broadcast, finished with a chemical-resistant epoxy topcoat designed for heavy-duty industrial use.
To maintain progress around the clock, two crews worked staggered 12-hour shifts. Scope also included building custom drainage berms around equipment and applying detailed safety striping at the end of the shutdown period.
The client was highly satisfied with the finished result, noting the professionalism, quality, and reliability of the work. Months after completion, the flooring continues to perform well with no issues reported. Peckham’s ability to manage complexity and stay on schedule played a key role in helping the overall shutdown run smoothly.
